How often have you considered the demise of pegs? You can, of course, still buy pegs. It's the quality I'm mourning.
I recently purchased a new washing line - until then I'd used and abused a tumble dryer. But desperate times call for desperate measures and I needed pegs.
Choosing some traditional wooden ones I thought every day would be washing day. Not so. I estimate that at least 45% are useless and are now bust and broken.
So what next? I've been forced to face the cutting edge of peg technology and have bought some plastic ones. I don't know why but that irks me. Perhaps because the material is synthetic?
It won't be long before I can product test this latest purchase. As exciting as watching paint dry, I will be watching my washing too!
