Sometimes it pays to be behind the times. One of the hot shows of recent times has been Sherlock with Bendedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman. On its first airing it passed me by - not sure why because I'm usually a fan of anything involving Mark Gatiss.
But I digress. The BBC are now repeating the programme and I've managed to see for myself why it won so many awards - including a BAFTA for Martin Freeman.
This Sherlock has all the elements of the classic sleuth, but with a modern twist. Even Mrs Hudson has bounced into the 21st century. No, this is one repeat I'm happy to catch - albeit just for a few weeks.
