Remembrance Sunday

Memories normally rely on experience to exist, but Remembrance Sunday is the exception. Those who fought in the 1st World War, those who fell during that bloody conflict, have passed on to future generations their memories and it is those whom we remember.

Throughout the country we remember those who gave their lives for our freedom and our futures. Veterans from all conflicts stand proud, their muscles taught as they salute those comrades who didn’t survive.

Their limbs may be old and tired, but their proud march, their very movement is proof of life and remembrance.

From the battles of the 1st World War to the war in Afghanistan, we will remember them.
